PNB Launches Host of Digital Banking Solutions


Usha Anathasubramanian, Managing Director and CEO Punjab National Bank on 1st January, 2016 launched Digital@PNB with customer centric digital products and dedicated the digital services to improve the customer experience. 

1) She introduced the Banking Industry’s first Mobile apps enabling the customer to locate PNB ATM with “PNB ATM Assist”.

About PNB Assist :-

(i) This android app facilitates the customer to use GPS and reach the nearest PNB ATM.

(ii) It also assists customer to instantly lodge operational issues, reducing the resolution time considerably. 


2) She launched “PNB MOBIEASE” another android based app, another industry first single touch banking app to undertake basic Banking.

About PNB MOBIEASE Features

(i) SMS Banking :- You will get balance on your phone with do single touch.

(ii) Mobile Banking :-  Single touch 
, you can operate your account on your phone.

3) Keeping the customer transaction security on top of Mind “PNB sleep easy” SMS based application, 

About "PNB sleep easy" SMS Based facility :-

(i) Another unique product to block and unblock Internet Banking and Mobile Banking was launched , which facilitates customer to lock the Internet Banking Transaction at will with simple SMS and unlock only by customer. 

(ii) This Product will enhance the customer confidence in the online Banking.

4) She also launched GREEN PIN facility

About GREEN PIN facility:- 

---> Customer can obtain Duplicate Pin for debit card instantly through SMS request. 

5) Keeping in view the digital need and convenience of customers, PNB introduced Online Saving Fund account opening. Be it home, Office, Day or Night Now open PNB account with this Web based solution.

6) PNB Cash acceptor cum ATM at their Sansad Marg Branch. Customers can deposit cash upto Rs.2 lacs per transaction and can avail the ATM feature. This two in one machine will enhance the customer experience. 


#Note :- She informed that this list is the beginning of digital services being offered to customers and many more will be introduced in the year 2016 to enhance customer experience and make Banking a pleasure.
